Dow Futures Opening Update as on 13 April 2018

U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Friday, April 13.The The Dow Futures are trading at 24,484.00 for up with +0.10% percent or +25.00 point.  The S&P 500 Futures are trading at  2,666.50 for up with +0.09% percent or  +2.00 point. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 6,661.50  with a loss of -0.14% percent or -8.75 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 21,778.74 for up  with +0.55% percent or  +118.46 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 30,808.38 with a loss of -0.07% percent or -22.90 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,159.05  with a loss of -0.66% percent or  -21.11 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 34,260.16 for up with +0.47% percent or  +159.03  point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 are trading at 7,252.69 with a loss of  -0.08% percent or -5.65 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 12,468.04 for up  with +0.43% percent or  +53.03 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,321.50  for up with +0.23% percent or +12.28 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 379.66  for up  with +0.02% percent or +0.86 point.

Friday’s Factors and Events

 U.S. stock index futures posted minor gains ahead of Friday’s open, with a slew of corporate earnings due to be published.

The moves in pre-market trade come after Wall Street finished its previous session in the black. On Thursday, the Dow Jones industrial average gained 293.60 points to close at 24,483.05, after President Donald Trump clarified his position on a possible missile attack in Syria.

 Markets have been on edge in recent days after Trump appeared to criticize the Kremlin for its supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad, following a suspected chemical attack last weekend.
