In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 was at 16449.84 for a loss of -243.87 points or -1.46 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was at 23297.15 for a loss of -442.32 points or -1.86 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite was at 3004.70 for a gain of 6.22 points or 0.21 percent. India’s S&P BSE Sensex was at 27865.96 for a gain of 38.43 points or 0.14 percent. In Europe, the FTSE 100 is at 6859.67 for a loss of -59.75 points or -0.86 percent. Germany’s DAX is at 10298.75 for a loss of -106.79 points or -1.03 percent. France’s CAC 40 is at 4382.08 for a loss of -61.76 points or -1.39 percent. The Stoxx Europe 600 was at 339.53 for a loss of -3.19 points or -0.93 percent.

Friday’s Factors and Events

The market continues to trade lower on Deutsche Bank’s struggles. Lower oil prices are also a factor as investors await a final agreement from OPEC in November.

On the economic calendar for Friday are the following reports: Personal Income and Outlays, the Chicago PMI, Consumer Sentiment and the Baker-Hughes Rig Count.
