The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,493.88 with a loss of -0.90% percent or -22.62 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 7,557.00 with a loss of -0.92% percent or -70.25 point.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 23,161.64 with a loss of  -0.51% percent or -118.42 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 2,763.99 with a loss of -1.69% percent or -16.65  point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 27,823.09 with a loss of  -1.56% percent or -442.22 point at 12:15 PM.Germany’s DAX is trading at 9,531.67  with a loss of –0.41% percent or –39.15  point. Friday’s Factors and Events

the index mounted a comeback and finished higher by 2.24% (or nearly 470 points) to 21,413.44. It rallied into the close and made up for almost half of yesterday’s approximately 970-point drop.

The S&P was up 2.28% to 2526.90 and the NASDAQ rose 1.72% (or around 126 points) to 7487.31.

These gains were made despite another rough reading for jobless claims. Remember how aghast everyone was with last week’s 3.3 million new claims? Well, this week’s report doubled that to 6.6 million, or approximately 10 million in two weeks.
