U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Thursday, June 01. The Dow Futures are trading at 21,014.00 for up with  +0.06% percent The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,414.25 for up with  +0.13% percent.. The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,803.62 for up with  +0.16 percent.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 19,860.03 for up with  +1.07% percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 25,809.22 for up with +0.58% percent. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,102.62  with a loss of –0.47% percent. India’s S&P BSE Sensex closed at 31,137.59 with a loss of –0.03% percent. In Europe, the FTSE 100 are trading at 7,553.83  for up with  0.45% percent. Germany’s DAX are trading at 12,649.80 for up with  +0.28% percent. Thursday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures were expected to slightly higher on Thursday as traders digested a fresh batch of economic data.
Private payrolls surged by 253,000 in May, easily topping expectations, according to a report from ADP and Moody’s Analytics. The report was expected to show 185,000 jobs added in May. Weekly jobless claims came in at 248,000, above a forecast of 239,000.

 Monthly vehicle sales will be reported throughout the morning and are expected to show about a 16.8 million vehicle annualized selling pace.

 

Wednesday’s Activity

Manufacturing activity will be reported in the Manufacturing PMI at 9:45 a.m. and the ISM manufacturing report at 10 a.m. April construction spending is expected at 10 a.m.
