U.S. stock futures are lower in pre-market trading for Friday, July 21. The Dow Futures are trading at 21,562.50 with a loss of -0.09% percent or -18.50 point. The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,471.00 with a loss of -0.01% percent or -0.25 point.The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,916.00 with a loss of – 0.16% percent or -9.25 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,099.75 with a loss of –0.22% percent or –44.84 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 26,706.09 with a loss of –0.13% percent or –34.12 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,237.98 with a loss of –0.21% percent or –6.88 point. India’s S&P BSE Sensex are trading at 32,028.89 for up with +0.39% percent or +124.49 point at 12:15 PM. In Europe, the FTSE 100 are trading at 7,481.19 with  a loss of 0.08% percent or –5.77 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 12,334.46 with a loss of –0.91% percent or –112.79 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,164.07 with a loss of –0.68% percent or –35.15 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 382.46 with a loss of -0.42% percent or -1.63 point.

On an unusually lean day after the start of the earnings season, no significant economic announcements are there on Friday, except the Baker Hughes North American rig count reports. All are looking back to the impact of the first six months of President Donald Trump. Traders are looking for cues from geopolitical developments around the globe. Initial trading direction from U.S. Futures Index suggest that Wall Street might open mostly lower. Asian shares finished broadly down,while European shares are trading mixed.
