Dow Futures Opening Update as on 03 October 2017

U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Tuesday, October 03. The Dow Futures are trading at 22,536.00 with a loss of -0.04% percent or -9.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,527.50 with a loss of -0.06% percent or -1.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 5,984.38 with +0.06% percent or +3.88 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere,   Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 20,614.07 for up with +1.05% percent or +213.29 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,099.45  for up with  +1.98% percent or  +545.15 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,348.94   for up with  +0.28% percent or  +9.30  point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 31,556.38   for up with  +0.87%  percent or +272.66 point at 12:15 PM .The FTSE 100 are trading at 7,443.36 for up with +0.06% percent or +4.58 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 12,902.65 for up  with +0.58% percent or +73.79 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,361.49 for up with +0.21% percent or +11.05 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 389.90   for up with a loss of -0.07% percent or  -0.25 point.

Tuesday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a slightly higher open Tuesday, with the positive trading streak for the fourth quarter set to continue, after Wall Street finished on a strong note in the previous session.

Dow Jones industrial average futures rose 33 percent, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1.75 points and 7 points, respectively.

On the first trading day of 2017’s fourth quarter, U.S. equities finished Monday’s session on a strong note, not only closing at record highs but with the Dow rising 152.51 points by the close.
