U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Wednesday, November 22. The Dow Futures are trading at 23,571.50 for up  with +0.12% percent or +28.50 point. The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,597.00 for up with +0.03% percent or +0.75 point.The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 6,376.88 with a loss of -0.04% percent or -2.62 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,523.15 for up with +0.48% percent or  +106.67 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 30,007.6 for up with +0.64% percent or  +189.61 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,430.46 for up with +0.59% percent or  +19.97 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,577.97 for up with  +0.30% percent or +100.35 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 are trading at 7,431.95 for up  with  +0.28% percent or +20.61 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 13,115.54 with a loss of –0.39% percent or -52.00 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,362.55 with a loss of –0.07% percent or –3.59 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 388.44 for up with +0.09% percent or  +0.34 point.

Wednesday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a mixed to slightly higher open Wednesday, as investors geared up for another fresh batch of data and awaited the latest minutes release by the Federal Reserve.

Dow Jones industrial average futures rose 30 points, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1.25 points and 2.75 points, respectively.

In the previous trading session, U.S. equities finished in positive territory, as a rally in technology stocks helped boost sentiment. Concerns surrounding tax reform in the U.S. have also eased in recent sessions.
