U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Wednesday, November 29. The Dow Futures are trading at 23,888.00 for up  with +0.32% percent or +77.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,629.50 for up with +0.13% percent or +3.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 6,427.38 for up with +0.11% percent or +7.37 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,565.58 for up with +0.35% percent or  +79.34 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 29,676.23 with a loss of –0.02% percent or  –4.62 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,326.38 with a loss of -00.22% percent or –7.27 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 33,667.48 for up with +0.14%  percent or +47.67 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 are trading at 7,418.99 with a loss of  -0.56% percent or –41.66 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 13,184.24 for up with +0.95% percent or +124.71 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,424.5 for up with +0.63% percent or +34.10 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 390.037 for up with +0.78% percent or  +3.02 point.

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a higher open Wednesday, as Wall Street looked to build on a strong performance from the previous session.

Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 73 points, while S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 futures gained 3.25 points and 6 points, respectively.

In the previous session, U.S. stocks closed at record highs, with the Dow Jones industrial average closing 255.93 points higher at 23,836.71. Equities were boosted after news emerged that the Senate took a step towards passing a bill aimed at reforming the U.S. tax code
