U.S. stock futures are higher in pre-market trading for Thursday, December 07. The Dow Futures are trading at 24,154.00 with a loss  of -0.01% percent or -2.00 point.The S&P 500 Futures are trading at 2,631.75 for up with +0.10% percent or +2.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures are trading at 6,313.76 for up with +0.33% percent or +20.76 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere,Japan’s Nikkei 225 are trading at 22,498.03 for up with +1.45% percent or  +320.99 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng are trading at 28,282.96 for up with +0.22% percent or +62.48 point. China’s Shanghai Composite are trading at 3,272.05 with a loss of –0.67% percent or –21.91 point. India’s BSE Sensex are trading at 32,802.74 for up with +0.62% percent or  +203.04 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 are trading at 7,351.28 for up with +0.04% percent or +3.17 point. Germany’s DAX are trading at 13,045.87 for up with +0.36% percent or  +47.02 point. France’s CAC 40 are trading at 5,386.00 for up with +0.22% percent or  +11.66 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 are trading at 387.22 with +0.23% percent or +0.90 point.

Thursday’s Factors and Events

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a slightly positive open on Thursday, as investors await more developments concerning an overhaul of the U.S. tax system.

In the previous session, U.S. equities finished relatively mixed, with the Nasdaq lifted by an uptick in technology stocks. The rest of the U.S. market closed slightly lower as investors awaited more details as to what the final tax reform would look like from Congress.

Consequently, the muted trading performance on Wall Street somewhat influenced stocks in Asia and in Europe on Thursday.
