U.S. stock futures lower  in pre-market trading for , November 15.The Dow Futures is trading at 25,130.00 up with +0.34% percent or +86.00 point. The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 2,708.50 up with +0.37% percent or +10.0 point. The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 6,817.50 up with +0.73% percent or +49.25 point.

In overnight trading in the Eastern Hemisphere, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 21,803.62  with a loss of –0.20% percent or –42.86 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 26,103.34  up with +1.75% percent or +448.91 point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 2,668.17 up with + 1.36% percent or  +35.93 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 35,273.10 up with +0.37% percent or +131.11 point at 12:15 PM.The FTSE 100 is trading at 7,049.03 up with  +0.22% percent or +15.24 point. Germany’s DAX is trading at 11,404.25  with a loss of –0.073% percent or –8.28 point. France’s CAC 40 is trading at 5,051.49  with a loss of –0.34% percent or –17.36 point. The Stoxx Europe 600 is trading at 360.26 with a loss of –0.55% percent or –2.07 point.

Thursday’s Factors and Events

Sterling plunged by over 1 percent against the dollar Thursday morning after U.K. Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab resigned from his post. This piles yet more pressure on U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May as she tries to get her draft Brexit agreement through Parliament.

Meanwhile, U.S. investors will be keeping a close watch on a slew of economic data expected on Thursday. At 8:30 a.m. ET, weekly jobless claims numbers are expected, followed by retail sales and a Philly Fed manufacturing survey at the same time.
