U.S. stock higher in pre-market trading for,July 09.The Dow Futures is trading at 34,465.50 up with +0.50% percent or +171.50 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 4,328.62 up with +0.36% percent or +15.62 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 14,728.50 up with +0.11% percent or +16.25 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 27,882.31 with a loss of – percent or –235.72 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 27,418.19 up with + percent or +265.06 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,520.46 with a loss of –percent or –5.04 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 52,348.89 with  a loss of – percent or –220.05 point at 12:15 PM. For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,030.66 with a loss of –percent or –120.36 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 6,396.73 with a loss of – percent or –130.99 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 15,420.64 with a loss of – percent or –272.07 point.

With new mutations discovered every few weeks, many scientists now predict that Covid will continue circulating around the world for at least the next two to three years, requiring nations to reinstitute public health measures on an ad hoc basis for the foreseeable future. Authorities in Australia, South Africa and Asia have recently reintroduced curfews or other measures to curb rising delta outbreaks. Japan just declared a coronavirus state of emergency in Tokyo and banned spectators at the Olympics.
