U.S. stock higher in pre-market trading for Nov 17.The Dow Futures is trading at 36,118.30 with a loss of -0.07% percent or -23.90 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 4,700.40 with a loss of -0.01% percent or -0.50 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 16,319.20 up with +0.06% percent or +9.40 point.

 

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at 29,705.46 with a loss of –0.34% percent or  –102.665 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 25,572.95 with a loss of –0.55% ercent or –140.83  point. China’s Shanghai Composite is trading at 3,531.58 with 0.28%% percent or –4.84   point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 60,521.45 with a loss of –0.021% percent or –12.77  point at 12:15 PM.For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 7,326.97 with a loss of –0.34% percent or –24.89 point. France’s CAC 40 closed at 7,152.60 up with +0.34%  percent or +23.97  point.Germany’s DAX closed at 16,247.86 up with +0.61% percent or +99.22 point.

 

 

TUESDAY’S FACTORS AND EVENTS

The pan-European Stoxx 600 added 0.24% by the close, with oil and gas stocks gaining 1.1% while construction and material stocks dropped 0.5%.

Tensions are escalating over Russia’s alleged build-up of troops at the Ukrainian border, with NATO warning that it would be prepared to defend the sovereignty of Ukraine.
