U.S. stock higher in pre-market trading for,april 13.The Dow Futures is trading at 33,658.50 with +0.08% percent or +27.50 point.The S&P 500 Futures is trading at 4,122.12 with +0.05%percent or +1.87 point.The Nasdaq Futures is trading at 13,811.00 with +0.02% percent or +2.25 point.

In other parts of world, Japan’s Nikkei 225 is trading at at 29,751.61 up with  +percent or +212.88 point. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading at 28,571.33 up with + percent or +118.05 point. China’s Shanghai  Composite is trading at 3,390.90 with a loss of – percent or –22.05 point. India’s BSE Sensex is trading at 47,980.12  up with + percent or +96.74 point at 12:15 PM. For the day the FTSE 100 closed at 6,889.12 with a loss of –percent or ?26.63 point. France’s CAC  40 closed at 6,161.68  with a loss of –percent or ?7.73 point.Germany’s DAX closed at 15,215.00 with  a loss of – percent or –19.16 point.

The IRS is issuing federal tax refunds automatically starting in May. (It may also apply the funds to other taxes owed.) It’s unclear how many people are affected.

Taxpayers won’t have to file an amended federal tax return unless the unemployment tax break makes them newly eligible for tax benefits like the earned income tax credit.
