It is possible that the bonds issued by the artificial intelligence algorithm startup Anthropic will not receive an investment-grade rating after the company has completed its inaugural securities offering.
According to a report on Friday, the private equity giant Blackstone informed investors that the debt for Anthropic, which is being organised as a public benefit company rather than a C-corp, may obtain a “high” junk rating. This is a change from the recommendations that Blackstone had previously provided.
